Rome has so many great churches, but this is one of the less frequented jewels. Must see. Also the catacombs. Tipp: Impressive and very vivid Celebration of the holy mess on Sunday at 10.

Usually this style of mosaic has Christ at the centre with saints either side, whereas here Saint Agnes takes centre stage, with the flames of her martyrdom at her feet.
