Ask for an 2nd floor even-numbered room. You'll get a pond/ poolside view; it's worth the extra money.

There are no elevators but it is only two stories. Get a room facing the garden. Old a bit worn but clean. The garden and pond are beautiful. Free breakfast from 6 to 10. UCSB discount available.

Ask to stay in an even-numbered room. They all face the beautifully maintained garden & pond area, as opposed to the parking lot.
