Most dishes are meaty and heavy. Staff is inattentive and ambiance needs some work. Skip the wine unless you like syrup. Stick to their bakery instead of the food.

Brave, big flavours when it comes to offal. A long wine list to explore.

Get the bone marrow appetiser!! All of the mains are delicious because they use seasonal ingredients. Also don't skip dessert!! The nectarine and almond tart was the best I've ever had

Had very high points in our meal. Hearts and sweetbreads were amazing. Some "just okay" dishes as well. Comfortable space with impeccable, yet friendly, service.

Interesting breakfast options but the dining room looks and is cold.

All the food we had during our meal was lovely and the goose fois pictured set the tone for the meal.

Great service, perfect kippers, and what was unquestionably the best bacon sandwich I’ve ever eaten.

Amazing service, food and wine. Loved the smoked eel, smoked cods roe, beef mince on duck fat toast, and crispy pigs cheek! Filling, large portions so it’s best to share.

Cod roe cooked to the perfection, other dishes are quite rustic in an English way.
