Do visit the castle if you get a chance, It is quite interresting and has a special place in English history as well. Visit their website for more information about admission, opening hours and such.

The castle is a wonderful place to visit, and if you're into gardening/grow-your-own, they often have plant sales and the castle shop sells mint and flowers cultivated in the grounds for centuries.
