Didn't enter the monastery. Just went to see the big cross. There were peacocks everywhere. Monastery entrance is 5€ in August 2019.

Great panoramic view of the airport, Ialyssos, the west coast and even Turkey at the giant cross. You'll find more hidden viewpoints if you follow the small trail to the right.
