It's really great for people to know the history of Taiwan! The exhibitions here show the stories so detailed.

Wow, didn’t expect this level of museum in Tainan! This is a great museum, very interactive & helpful audio guide. Plan to spend solid 3 hrs here to see everything. Highly recommended when in Tainan!

The main exhibition isn't too big, it's mostly an overview of Taiwan history, isn't in depth, and doesn't get into the nuances. You'll see a lot of school kids (under 10 yo) in weekday mornings.

此博物館的設計概念以「渡海」、「鯤鯓」、「雲牆」、「融合」四大主題構成，最後者包含行政典藏大樓及展示教育大樓。融合的主題集結了多元傳統建築語彙，包含原住民的石板屋、干欄式建築、漢民族的合院配置、斜屋頂等，轉換成現代的構造與形式，象徵台灣的多元文化。（節錄自《台灣建築選 2005-2009》）
