At least three ghosts are believed to reside or at least visit here, including two blonde children, thought to belong to the house’s original owners, and a shadowy figure thought to be Poe himself.

Fascinating museum devoted to the life of EAP. Lots of items owned and used by Poe himself: desks, boyhood bed, hats, walking stick, even a lock of hair! Great live reading of "The Tell-tale Heart"!

It was a really great memorial. And not too expensive either. Very quaint historic walk through.

Very friendly staff. All self guided tour with the option of an audio to go along while you walk through the different areas.

A wonderful tribute to "the Prince of American literature" as Victor Hugo called Poe. So many artifacts and so much to learn. Plus two black cats, Edgar and Pluto, roam the property.
