This pub really is a step back in time. Gas lights, uneven floors, and a thatched barn out the back. Great pint but the food was a little expensive and just mediocre. Dog friendly

Old Peculiar from an oak cask cannot be beat! This pub is placed in the beautiful Dales, get a sandwich and an Old P and sit outside for a while if the weather allows!

More famously than viewing the great historic barn - assembled w/o nails - you can even sit on the stool used by Sue Ellen (Linda Gray) of Dallas.

The cruck barn is not restored. It was built in 2006 which arguably makes it more interesting.
