The Mediterranean Skillet is cheap, generously portioned, and served piping hot. Although in need of salt and a touch more flavor, definitely satisfying. Pigs in a blanket, however, are disappointing.

If there's a wait, make sure to sign up on the clipboard by the door. The coffee is Ronnoco (yuck) and it gets packed easily (pretty small), but the service is friendly and fast, and the food cheap.

Webster Groves breakfast and lunch spot Boardwalk Cafe serves up traditional diner faves, including omelets, pancakes and pigs in a blanket for breakfast, which is served all day.

Best pancakes in St. Louis. Ask them to add blueberries for an extra treat - no extra charge.
