Historic feeling in the hotel rooms and lobby, like you are transported to the late 1800s. Great location, free parking garage. The rooms could have brighter lighting though.

Great proximity to all the shops - you can park and not move your car until the end of the trip - huge perk! Go here for the history rather than the modern amenities.

Sunday brunch until 1pm. Not a huge variety, but the food is excellent and falls right around ten bucks. Best deal for breakfast in Galena, IL.
