Looks and feels haunted, but the rooms are actually ok - and also, it’s not like we’re spoilt for choice in Llandrindod Wells.

Had Sunday lunch. Average starter. Below average roast beef main. Terrible Yorkshire pudding. Didn't bother with dessert.

The cask-conditioned Tetley's served at the bar is an excellent ale. Well looked after. Brasserie food also good value.
