It is a good place to go to for a days outing/pick nik/rafting. Located in Coloma on HWY49.

Great place to put in for C to G class 2+ kayak run. You can continue through to the Gorge for class 3+. Beautiful river, gorgeous scenery. Less crowded this time of year.

Take the guided tour from the visitor's center- covers more than just the gold rush, including Native American sites.

This is where Gold was first discovered. Cool spot right on the river. Great place to swim and go tubing. Picnic or swim, fun little adventure.
