Lose yourself in this haven of floor to ceiling stacked books, around a huge central open fire (22 years without issue). Amazing aroma of open fire & old books. Just needs wine. Cafe closed down :(

Excellent little cafe located at the back of, and above, Scotland's largest second hand bookshop. Soups, sandwiches and cakes on offer.

What makes this the best used bookstore in the world: haphazard shelving, an entire "miscellaneous" area that is my personal vice & salvation combined, the café, the stove ... & it's an old church.
