Much better than being dropped off or picked up by the side of the road in NYC. Book early to save on Bolt Bus tickets.

Mainly clean and efficient, there is a Dunkins and burger king on the gate floor level.

Fast food restaurants on the same level as the departure gates and a packed convenience store for all and sundry. Try to arrive early for your bus, save yourself some stress

South Station is one of the better-organized bus terminals. Separate gates, clean facilities, and a few food options cover the bases.

Never appreciated this bus terminal till I went to the megabus and bolt bus stops in NYC. It's much more organized here...and indoors! There's also a mcdonalds to grab a quick bite before your bus!

One of the safest bus terminal i've ever been. Good security with clean environment. You can grab a taxi easily even at midnight. Much peace compare to NYC

Megabus is pretty cheap depending on day/time. On Monday at 12 pm= $17. Suggest you go on bottom seats. Plug doesn't always work on top. Spotty WIFI.

The terminal folks will bust your balls about using free electricity to charge your phone. Public domain in my opinion so piss off. Go see Kevin at South Station concierge and he'll hook you up!

Thank you to the 2 ppl who had said that Mega Bus is good I have not taken it before I usually take the Peter Pan so I am glad it will be okay
