Take the downtown C train here. It might be a little slower, but you’ll ALWAYS get a seat.

This is the first/last stop of the C train. You need an elevator to transfer btwn the 1 train to the A/C trains & exit. There are 4 huge elevators that look sketchy & take some time though...

I like that I can catch the A/C or the 1 at this station. I don't love waiting on the elevator for the 1, and it's a pretty gross station compared to others, but it is convenient.

Making NYC Your Gym is as easy as getting off the subway a stop early. Get off at 168th St. and walk the rest of the way to work/home/school. More on Making NYC Your Gym: http://on.nyc.gov/T6Gc9J

Swiping through to get in can be a MAJOR bitch sometimes, prepare to walk over to the booth if you fail to swipe after 2-3 times.

The 1 train is accessed via elevators, one of which is staffed.
