The mechanical stairs never work in this station. There’s always someone fixing them all day for it to be broken the next day. The elevator works well.

The live train display on the southbound platform is hit and miss; and don't assume "next train arriving" is southbound -- it can be northbound too.

There have been transit cops here lots lately, even at 10:30 at night. Take caution if you feel like being an ass and riding for free. Would you rather pay $3 or $175?

You will be able to see the south bound train much earlier from the top of the stairs instead of waiting at the bottom. Keep warm with less crowd and have plenty of time to get on the furthest car.
